Long before holistic financial planning became an industry standard, Mick pioneered a full-spectrum approach that brought products, planning, and personal guidance under one roof. A Legacy Entrusted to the Next Generation
As the firm grew, so did the responsibility to protect what mattered most: values, relationships, and adviser independence. In 1998, Mick Owens entrusted the leadership of the Companies to his son, Brent Owens, naming him President of Creative Financial Designs and cfd Investments. Brent brought a steady hand shaped by years of experience inside the business and a leadership style rooted in integrity, trust, and genuine connection. Under his guidance, the firm strengthened its adviser-first culture while expanding the tools, support, and flexibility advisers need to thrive in an increasingly complex industry.
